Located on the legendary Face de Bellevarde, the Peau de Vache restaurant enjoys a superb location. Invisible from the slopes, and from the bottom of the resort, this restaurant is sheltered from everything, well hidden, and the chairlift is right next to it. La Peau de Vache, accessible to skiers and pedestrians, offers a view of the village of Val-d'Isère. What about the warm welcome from all the staff and the 2 magnificent Labradors? Exceptional! Once through the door, you will be surprised to discover a huge candle-lit chalet, subdued lighting, unusual, very "vintage" decoration, a "homey" atmosphere. Sitting on cowhides, you will taste excellent dishes, composed of selected products, for a meal by candlelight, accompanied by a retro French musical program. You will appreciate a refined cuisine which composes a very varied menu and hearty dishes. Try the Burgers from “nowhere else” with truffles or other surprises, and the famous cow dung, one of the delicious homemade desserts. You will choose your wines in the cart at the entrance of the restaurant and if you want to treat yourself to a little madness, the most beautiful bottles are hidden in the back room. You can also eat outside, on the terrace, on a table covered with cowhide and facing the snow-capped mountains, what more could you ask for.
